When you are in busy Chiang Mai, it’s a good idea to take a side trip to laidback Pai. This 2 day tour shows you all the highlights of this little friendly city. What to expect on this tour
On the first day we start with a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai at around 07:30. Our air conditioned car or minivan takes you to Pai, which is an extremely scenic route. The trip takes around 3 hours and we’ll make a few stops along the way to stretch your legs and enjoy beautiful viewpoints. It’s also a very famous road due to the 762 bends that lead up and down the mountain in between Chiang Mai and Pai. If you have a history of motion sickness, please make preparations as the trip can be difficult to you. Otherwise just sit back and enjoy the ride!

The trip and visiting the highlights takes the whole day and includes a lunch during the day. Close to the evening we will bring you to the hotel close to Pai walking street. The accommodation is based on a shared double or twin room. After check-in it’s time to enjoy a Thai dinner on Pai walking street. The rest of the evening you can enjoy the center of Pai or head to bed early. All up to you!
Day 2
We start the day with a breakfast at our resort. When we feel full, it’s time for a bicycle trip around Pai. Enjoy a relaxed and scenic ride through the valley. It takes around 4 hours and we make stops at the following points of interest:
- Tha Pai Mineral Hot Spring (bring a swimming suit!)
- World War 2 Memorial Bridge
At around 15:00 it’s time to head back to Chiang Mai. The drive takes around 3 hours and we should be back at your hotel at around 18:00. It’s also possible to be dropped off at a different location in Chiang Mai, for example the bus station or airport. Please let us know during booking if you wish to be dropped off elsewhere.
